The 2017 '25 Year Club'

Another year has passed and the 2017 - 25 Year Appreciation Ceremony was held at the Durham Curling Club. The night included dinner, gifts and social time to honor employees for their loyalty and dedication to the company. With years of service ranging from 25 to 50 years, the average number of years worked for all 26 members is 39.38, and the total accumulated number of years is 1024.
This year we send congratulations and best wishes to Wayne Rawn, an employee who dedicated 45 Years to Durham Furniture Inc and retired September 6, 2017 on the anniversary date he was hired. Other celebrated Employee’s included Bruce Witherow with 45 years of service, Steve Morris also with 45 Years, Dave Smith with 40 Years and Ron Dow with 30 Years. The night was a great success with entertaining stories, good food and lots of laughs. It is because of our loyal, dedicated and hardworking employees that Durham Furniture Inc continues to thrive.
